PreMinder is an electronic diary with lots of helpful features to keep your life organised. When you start it up, it will automatically search for any reminders you might have for the current day and display them. To keep you up to date, we recommend you place PreMinder in startup items in your system folder, so you are reminded every time you switch on your computer. Make sure PreMinder is on an unlocked volume or you won't be able to use it! Copy it off a CD onto your Hard Disk so it can work.
PreMinder is a HyperCard Stack, and as such needs HyperCard or the HyperCard Player version 2.1 or higher to run. For the visual effects to work your monitor should be set to 256 colours or lower, and for everything to look beautiful make sure you have the following fonts:

Sorry, but we can't send you small upgrades to the program on disk, but we will try to make them available on the Internet, as soon as Gabriel figures out how to use it.
The Making of PreMinder
This program started life as a school project, but has been nurtured into a fully grown piece of software by Alec who wanted to annoy Gabriel and show him just how bad that school project was. Now he is embarrassed to have his name appearing in large letters on the opening screen, since he has done no work on improving the program, apart from unerringly finding every bug he could in it within the first five minutes of use. Still, without all his constructive criticism, the Great British Empire wouldn't be what it is today.
• Gabriel is currently studying something vaguely huge and mildly pretentious, and on a good day might know something about computers, magic, maths and very obscure puzzles. His opinions are World Famous for their strength, and can now be bought bottled at most good Off-Licenses.
• Alec is amazingly talented at everything, being able to paint masterpieces, find solutions to the world's problems, play a shoestring and juggle plates while balancing a seal on his nose. He has recently opened a sauna in Kensington where you can come to bask in his glory, for a fee.

Feel free to make lots of copies of PreMinder and give them to all your friends! Then persuade your friends to register their copies!

If you want to export all your Reminders to a file then avoid using the Δ and ˚ characters in your reminder messages, or you will have trouble loading them back into PreMinder.
